Q: Why buy a BMW?

A. When you buy a BMW, you are getting class-leading driving dynamics fused with elegant design. These two elements, an exciting sports car-like driving experience with luxury car style and amenities, are what BMW have built their brand on since the 1960’s. The premium sport sedan was a new market segment created by BMW, and to this day, BMW does it better than anyone. All vehicles by BMW deliver this premium experience, from SUVs to luxury sedans, to sporty coupes.

Q: What are the key things to consider when buying a BMW?

A. As with all car buying decisions, you first have to look at your needs. Fortunately, BMW has a vehicle for every need. For the family with children, the X5 offers ample storage as well as fold-down third row seating. Plenty of space for everyone, and the comfort you would expect from a premium European SUV. If you were looking for more of a weekend vehicle for sunny day drives up the coast, BMW produces a full line of sporty cabriolets. Choose from the 2, 4, and 6 Series. BMW sedans offer good all-around performance, handling, trunk space, and comfortable rear seats. Our sedans also come in all sizes, from the compact 2 Series, up to the spacious stretch of the 750Li. For the driving enthusiast looking for the ultimate BMW performance, there is only one answer: BMW M. BMW’s M brand features cabriolets, coupes, sedans, and SUVs, but they all share an exhilarating, motorsport-inspired ride. And finally, for those who are conscious of their carbon footprint, the new BMW i brand of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles adds sustainability as one of the defining characteristics of a premium automobile. The all-electric BMW i3 is emission-free, made of 100% recycled materials, and built in plants that utilise wind generated power.

Q: BMW has introduced all-new 7 Series luxury cars. What is so unique about them?

A. The all-new 2016 BMW 7 Series incorporates several technologies and features that were first developed for another BMW Group manufacturer: Rolls Royce. As a result, the new 7 Series has features that are simply not available in competing vehicles from Mercedes-Benz or Audi. Features like the 15,000 LEDs embedded in the Panoramic Sky Lounge LED Roof, with your choice of ambient light colour to suit your mood. Or the industry first Gesture Control, which lets you control the volume of your sound system by twirling your finger in the air, or dismiss an incoming phone call by simply waving it away.

The 7 Series, and all full size luxury sedans in this segment, are biased towards the comfort and amenities available to passengers in the back seat. However, for those that like to take the wheel themselves, they will notice something else unique about the 2016 BMW 7 Series: it’s quick. In fact, the 750i with the new 445hp V8 gets up to 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds. This is made possible in part by the light weight carbon fibre construction of the new 7 Series, which saves 86 kg over the previous 7 Series and 45 kg over the current Mercedes-Benz S Class.

Q: What is the Executive Lounge?

A. When you climb into the rear seat of a 2016 BMW 7 Series equipped with the Rear Executive Lounge Seating package, you can recline the passenger-side seat up to 42 degrees. The front passenger seat slides all the way forward as a foot rest extends downward. You can lean back, put your feet up, and pick up your Touch Command tablet out of its cradle in centre arm rest. Here you will be able to control all aspects of your ride, such as the entertainment system, seating position, massage function, 6 colours of ambient lighting, the programmable Ambient Air fragrance program, and the Vitality Program, designed to revitalize the body on long journeys through automated seat movements and an interactive exercise program on the 10” rear seat display.

Q: What is the starting price?

A. The 2016 BMW 7 Series Sedan starts at $113,900, while the long wheelbase model starts at $117,900.
