As the FIFA World Cup arrived in Vancouver, Granville Island quickly emerged as one of the city’s most vibrant gathering places. Throughout the five week tournament, thousands of fans have flocked to the waterfront destination to watch matches on a giant 24-foot screen, transforming the island into a celebration of football, culture and community.
