VANCOUVER, BC, March 25, 2024 – Today, Botanica Tulip Festival announced that season and daily passes are now on sale, and the festival’s tentative opening date is April 12, 2024. Located in Chilliwack, an hour outside of Vancouver off Highway 1, Botanica Tulip Festival is the ultimate springtime event for all ages. The festival will open to the public April 12th and run until mid-May, with daily hours from 5:00 a.m. to dusk. Tickets start at $12 for adults which includes access to the festival, with the option of add-ons for additional festival attractions.
Ticket holders will enjoy a serene stroll through 1.5 million tulips, capture memorable moments with unique photo opportunities, have the chance to pick tulips from the Upick field to take home for $40 and shop for local products at the farm store. Visitors can also indulge in delicious offerings from local food trucks daily like Palm Cafe Truck, Urban Wood Fired Pizza and others. Along with friends and family, Botanica will also welcome on-leash furry friends, as the festival is pet-friendly.
New this year, Botanica Tulip Festival is delighted to have a Ferris wheel on-site, offering visitors a chance to take in the spectacular views of the expansive 13 acre tulip fields from above. A bird’s eye view of the rainbow-coloured fields awaits! The Ferris wheel will be available for the first three weeks of the festival only and is an add-on option, available when purchasing tickets online for $8 and at the gate for $10. Botanica Tulip Festival will also offer floral workshops hosted by Lam Ear’s Floral, another festival add-on for those looking to enhance their experience.
With a history of over 75 years, the Botanica Tulip Festival farm site has been a cherished part of the Pauls family heritage since 1948. Originally a modest farm, it has evolved into a beloved local destination, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors annually to witness its breathtaking tulip displays.

To ensure a seamless experience, visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance through the festival’s website, botanicaflowerfestival.com, to save and guarantee access.Pricing for children & youth (5-15) varies from $10-$20, adults (16-64) $12-$25 and seniors (65+) $10-$20. Infants & toddlers (0-4) can access the festival for free. Please note weekday and weekend pricing varies.
Additionally, season passes are available for $40, providing unlimited access to the festival throughout its duration. Botanica also offers several options for reduced entry rates including Magic Hour which allows visitors to see the tulips at sunrise for $30 or on Mondays for Botanica’s Mellow Mondays, a $10 entry fee for all guests.
