Surrey, British Columbia – Sher Vancouver invites you to the DESI-Q Cultural Gala, an event you don’t want to miss!
On Saturday, July 8th, 2023, at 6 pm, we’ll be celebrating our incredible journey over the past 15 years at the beautiful Bollywood Banquet Hall in Surrey.
As a registered charity for LGBTQ+ South Asians and their friends, families, and allies, Sher Vancouver has made tremendous progress in the community, and we’re proud of all that we’ve accomplished. Join us for a night of South Asian and fusion arts and cultural performances, classical music, and delicious food, including a traditional Indian buffet dinner with lots of vegetarian options.
In addition to the entertainment, we’ll also be highlighting the highlights of our 15-year history in Surrey and Metro Vancouver, and we’ll be recognizing our amazing volunteers, thanks to our special sponsor, UBC Community Engagement.
We’re anticipating a sold-out crowd of 500+ guests in attendance, so make sure to purchase your tickets well in advance. We’ve already sold 40% of tickets in the first week, so don’t wait too long!
