SACH South Asian Community Hub hosting 2nd annual Fundraising Gala

Following the tremendous success of last year’s inaugural event, the South Asian Community Hub (SACH) is excited to announce that the 2nd annual fundraising gala will be taking place on the evening of May 2nd at the Crown Palace Banquet Hall.

SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, – Following the tremendous success of last year’s inaugural event, the South Asian Community Hub (SACH) is excited to announce that the 2nd annual fundraising gala will be taking place on the evening of May 2nd at the Crown Palace Banquet Hall.

 

Continuing with the title, “SACH A Worthy Cause”, the gala will once again highlight the importance of the South Asian Community Hub as a non-profit organization that offers wrap-around services for individuals and families facing health and social challenges.

 

The gala will feature a buffet dinner and an amazing lineup of entertainment and fun including performances, impact speakers, specially crafted mocktails and a silent auction. 

 

Senator Baltej Singh Dhillon, a powerful voice recognized across Canada for his commitment to upholding the values of fairness and equality for all, will deliver the keynote speech.

 

The inaugural fundraising gala, which took place on April 26, 2024, was an exceptional night for all 500+ individuals including many prominent business leaders, politicians, faith organizations and community institutions. 

 

Attendees appreciated the uniqueness of the gala’s speakers bringing forth compelling and necessary conversations and stories about healing and recovery in the South Asian community.

The mission of the South Asian Community Hub is to foster the health and well-being of underserved diverse communities living in British Columbia by providing low-barrier services, counselling, and advocacy through a South Asian perspective in multiple languages.
