A passionate and talented young woman, Neha has grown to be an accomplished dance choreographer, actress, stage performer, philanthropist and humanitarian. Inspired by her Indian roots and her entrepreneurial drive, Neha founded a dance company called “Dance Expression” – a platform for teaching dance styles (e.g. Bollywood, Bhangra, Bharatnatyam, Hip Hop) to aspiring dancers. Her dream is to use this talent as a springboard into an acting career. Neha’s goal is to become a respectable actress and to host her own television show focusing on causes near to her heart.
Neha has lived extensively across the world including Canada, India and Ecuador and has volunteered with several organizations including Lions Club International, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Toronto, Girl Guides of Canada and Rochiram T. Thadhani Highschool in Mumbai, India. As a volunteer, she assists troubled youth through career changes and provides family support guidance. She aspires to serve the global community as a Criminologist, Human Rights Activist, Forensic Scientist and Journalist and is working diligently towards impacting the world at large. She believes in inspiring young women to be themselves, be fearless of rejection/humiliation and to positively accept criticism. Furthermore, she hopes to empower underprivileged citizens of the world. She strongly believes that every child in this world deserves an education as they are leaders of tomorrow, today!
Over the years, Neha has participated in many fashion shows in Canada and India. She was also a delegate at the Miss World Canada 2013 pageant in Vancouver. She is a trained Bharatnatyam (Indian Classical Dance) dancer and is a former student of the Shaimak Davar Dance Institute in Hyderabad, India. Neha completed a diploma in acting from the Roshan Taneja School of Performing Arts.
As a part of giving back to her community, Neha loves to put together events. She has organized events, shows and theater productions including “Do you want to be the next Bollywood Idol” to help youth achieve their dreams and “Dare to Dream” fundraising gala night for children with disabilities. Most recently, she organized a theater production- “Ramayana” for the Satya Sai Organization.
Neha has been invited as a guest speaker on various talk shows and radio channels such as Rogers TV- Trending in York Region and Community Connections. She has performed various plays and dances across India, Canada and USA.
Currently, Neha is pursuing a Masters of Arts in Journalism and shooting her first feature film in India.
