Mr. Mike Starchuk, our new MLA from Cloverdale visited PICS Society head office on July 6th to meet with our staff and learn about the various programs and services offered by PICS. He was particularly interested to discuss the progress of the important community project being built within his riding of Cloverdale – Guru Nanak Diversity Village – a 125 bed long-term care facility that will provide culturally sensitive care to our seniors. Most importantly Mr. Starchuk gave a very generous personal donation of $1,300 towards the Guru Nanak Diversity Village Project. He has promised full support for the community project and is willing to become a “Brand Ambassador” to help fundraise $5 million for the project. We want to thank MLA Starchuk for the visit and for his generous donation.
