Oliver, B.C. – Kismet Estate Winery is expanding its corporate hospitality offering for 2026, bringing together custom wine labels for client gifting and events, winemaker-led virtual tastings, year-round corporate lunches and dinners, team events and group bookings, and retreat planning tied to the launch of on-site accommodations this summer. The offering is designed for companies looking for more thoughtful ways to gather, gift, and connect, whether teams are remote, hybrid, or meeting in person in the South Okanagan.
Led by Head Winemaker Manpreet Dhaliwal, Canada’s first and only South Asian female head winemaker and a BCBusiness 30 Under 30 honouree, Kismet brings together award-winning wine, a family-built vineyard legacy, and a hospitality experience rooted in story and place. The Dhaliwal family farms 600+ acres across the South Okanagan and spent decades building its reputation as premium grape growers before launching its own label. Kismet was founded on a quality-over-quantity approach, traditionally reserving the top 10% of fruit for its wines. That focus tightens even further with the new Virsa Series, crafted from the top 1% of each vintage.

“Kismet has always been about more than what is in the glass,” says Manpreet Dhaliwal, Head Winemaker, Kismet Estate Winery. “For corporate groups, we can create something that feels personal and well considered, whether that is a custom-labelled gift, a virtual tasting that connects people across cities, or a retreat that gives a team time to gather in a more meaningful way.”
That sense of meaning runs through the brand itself. Kismet means destiny, while Virsa means heritage or legacy. Guests can expect tasting experiences shaped by the meaning and inspiration behind the winery’s wine names, alongside continued momentum at Manzil, Kismet’s on-site Indian restaurant and patio, where group lunches, dinners, and pairing-driven experiences add another distinctive layer to the winery offering.

For remote and hybrid teams, Kismet’s virtual tastings can be hosted by Dhaliwal, with past clients even asking the winery to help source local restaurant pairings for participants in their own communities. For in-person gatherings, Kismet can host corporate lunches and dinners year-round, team events, and retreats, including at The Hangar event space. Yoga can also be added as part of a group package for companies looking to build in a more restorative element.
“As we expand the hospitality side of Kismet, we are creating more ways for companies to gather with intention,” says Neelam Dhaliwal, General Manager, Kismet Estate Winery. “Between Manzil, The Hangar, our tasting experiences, and accommodations arriving this summer, there is real flexibility to shape something that fits the group while still feeling distinctive to Kismet.”

With on-site accommodations set to launch this summer, Kismet is encouraging companies to begin planning fall retreats now. Overnight stays, winery experiences, meals at Manzil, optional wellness add-ons, and on-site helicopter access add to the flexibility of the corporate offering, giving groups the opportunity to host something with more story, more substance, and a stronger sense of place.
