Vancouver, BC – The Vancouver International Auto Show (VIAS), taking place March 25th–29th, will make Canadian automotive history with the Canadian debut of boundary-pushing hypercar manufacturer Oilstainlab. As part of a show defined by multiple exciting vehicle debuts and first-time appearances, Oilstainlab’s unveiling of the HF-11 hypercar stands out as one of the most radical and talked-about displays ever presented at VIAS.
Founded in California in 2019, Oilstainlab has quickly earned global attention for its unapologetic design philosophy and relentless pursuit of performance. The company’s HF-11 is a 650-horsepower, 2,000-pound, 10,000-rpm, street-legal hypercar, blending 1960s endurance-racing inspiration with the latest in engineering, generative Ai, and extreme weight reduction. Only 25 HF-11 vehicles will be produced worldwide and they will be manufactured exclusively in Canada.
Guests will experience the Canadian debut of the HF-11 alongside the legendary Half11, the non-production 1960s tribute that laid the foundation for the brand. Over the last 5 year Half11 has been tested globally for more than five years, with stops at F.A.T Ice race, Goodwood, Quail and Top Gear. The Oilstainlab exhibit will also include a few of their other design projects crafted by the same artisans that build these high tech, but nostalgic vehicles.
