Vancouver, 28th September 2024 – On September 28th, Heartfulness Institute, a charitable organization dedicated to teaching meditation and promoting wellness, hosted a successful International Day of Peace celebration at the Jewish Community Centre. The event marked the culmination of a 21-day Peacefulness Challenge, engaging participants from diverse communities in fostering a culture of peace.
Distinguished dignitaries including Mr. Ravinder Mangla, Consul of India, and Sister Claudia Rangel from Brahma Kumari’s graced the occasion, alongside media partner Mr. Harpreet Singh. Highlights of the event included soulful music performances by Ukrainian artist Oleskiy, enlightening talks by dignitaries on cultivating peace within their communities, emphasizing how personal peace contributes to global harmony.
The event concluded with the presentation of Peace Ambassador certificates to the 21- day Peacefulness challenge participants from the community by Heartfulness Institute’s statutory officers in Canada. Heartfulness Institute congratulates all participants of the Peace Challenge and encourages them in their efforts to promote peace within their respective communities.
