But, apart from the personal facts that we have come to know about this gorgeous, beautifully-built, endearing young man, other things might surprise you about him. Hence, young ladies, it is imperative that we conducted a Q& A interview with heartthrob Harmanveer.

Q.Who is your celebrity crush?

A. I have always admired Aishwarya Rai for many obvious reasons. She was the first person to represent India as a winner at the international platform. She is classy, sophisticated, and let’s face it, drop-dead gorgeous! Now, who could resist those mesmerizing eyes of hers? Besides her incredible physical attributes, she is also an honest person but never offensive, and she’s a fantastic thespian as well.

Q. Are you single?

A. Yes, I am. It’s not because I don’t believe in a relationship but because I think it won’t be fair to my partner if I can’t give her the time and attention she deserves. I take pride in what I do, so by staying single for now, I can stay more focused on my work and channel all my energy to get where I want.

Q. How would someone get your particular attention?

A.I am a great observer. Anyone who is well-fit and has a good physique gets my attention.

Q. What is your biggest/weirdest fear?

A. When I won the title of Mr. Punjab, I was blessed with fame, money, and fan following at age nineteen. I wondered once whether I might end up being arrogant just like what I have witnessed from young talents inBollywood. Fortunately, I am surrounded by family and friends who are there to remind me always to keep my foot on the ground. Showbiz is a dog-eat-dog territory. One mistake could drag you down into oblivion.”

Q. How crazy are you?

A. I believe in results, not excuses, so my craziness surfaces when it’s a matter of getting things done. Needless to say that I consider my craziness as passion. When I auditioned for Mr. Punjab, I had nothing but passion, a dream to become one. I had to work extraordinarily hard to get where I am now.Someoneonce said: “Passion uncontrolled is passion; Passion controlled is genius.” The level of my craziness is the type of controlled passion that’s driven by one’s intellect and logic.

Q. What’s your favorite holiday?

A. Diwali. Firstly, because Diwali is a family reunion occasion. No matter where I am, how busy my schedule is, I make time to get away from work and celebrate Diwali with my family and cousins. Secondly, the fireworks! How can you resist them? I love watching fireworks since I was a kid.

Q. Do you get used to being a celebrity?

A. One should always learn to look back. Always remember where you come from, for doing so, will lead you to where you are headed. With the amount of support and fan following I have acquired in the past year, I do getused to being a celebrity. I guess that makes fans the most important motivational instrument for an artist.

Q. What sports do you enjoy?

A. Being on a workout schedule of two hours in the morning and another two hours in the evening every day,it barely leaves you time to play any sport. However, I do play golf for fun.

Q. What would be a good theme song for your life?

A. I am always fond of all songs sung by the great Punjabi legend singer, Mr. Gurdass Mann. But if I have topick a song that would be a good theme for my life, it the one sung by Mr. Zora Randhawa: “Tangiyaan cho jinna langna si lang gaye par aaun waala time tere bhai da”Kujh ban ke dikhaunna, naam jagg te kamauna, muhre ikk din langh javange sab ton, Injh tan ni asi jaan waale jag ton.”
