With a strong belief that health is wealth, Elite Wealth Management is lending a generous hand in transforming patient care by raising over $43,000 to fund state-of-the-art medical imaging technologies for Richmond Hospital’s future medical imaging centre.
“Elite Wealth Management is proud to support our local hospital and provide our health care teams the newest equipment possible to provide the best care,” says Angela Fok, President and Founder of Elite Wealth Management, a local financial management company in Richmond. “We rely on Richmond Hospital for our health and wellbeing, so it’s important to give back and contribute towards a better and healthier future in our community.”
For years, Angela and her company, Elite Wealth Management, have been avid supporters of Richmond Hospital Foundation. In the past two years, they have expanded their support by hosting planned giving seminars with the aim to guide the community on making thoughtful future decisions that consider personal and family needs, as well as give back to the community. Furthermore, donations raised for Richmond Hospital Foundation during the educational seminars were then matched by Elite Wealth Management. In June 2021, they raised over $24,000 for Richmond Hospital Foundation’s Surgical Restart Campaign, and most recently, raised over $43,000 for the Medical Imaging Centre Campaign.
The new medical imaging centre will be at the heart of the future Yurkovich Family Pavilion, the hospital’s new acute care tower and will accommodate in-patient beds, an expanded surgical centre, a new Emergency Department, and a Critical Care Unit. The medical imaging centre will be built to accommodate more than 200,000 visits per year, compared to just over 115,000 visits today.
“The generous support of Elite Wealth Management will help us prepare for the future health care needs of Richmond,” shares Spencer Gall, Richmond Hospital Foundation Campaign Director. “Thanks to them, we are one step closer to achieving our goal in equipping the new centre with the latest medical imaging tools to improve the lives of patients and their families.”
Richmond Hospital Foundation is raising $20 million to fund imaging technologies key for diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. These include CT scanners, MRI machines, mammography machines, SPECT machines, X-Ray machines, and interventional radiology machines.
