Vancouver, 13th August, 2021
The City of Vancouver and the Province of Alberta have very graciously agreed to illuminate some select public buildings and historic landmarks in the colors of the Indian National Flag in their respective cities namely in Vancouver, Calgary & Edmonton.
The illumination will be done on the evening of Sunday, 15th August, 2021.
Below is a list of buildings & landmarks that will be illuminated in saffron-whitegreen – the colors of the Indian National Flag:
City of Vancouver

• Burrard Bridge
City of Calgary
• McDougal Center (Calgary office of the Premier of Alberta)
• Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium (Calgary performing arts auditorium)
• Olympic Plaza
• Reconciliation Bridge
• Arts Commons
City of Edmonton
• Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium (Edmonton performing arts auditorium)
