Surrey Based Thrift Store Makes an Impact Donating $20,000 On Their 2nd Anniversary

SURREY, B.C. (Sept 23, 2018) – 1PM TO 3PM
SEVA Thrift Store Society will be making a donation of $20,000 to the Surrey Hospital and Outpatient Care Foundation on their 2nd Anniversary Celebration on Sunday at 1PM September 23, 2018. Proceeds are to support the Children’s Campaign for medical equipment and services at the hospital.

The Seva Thrift Society began over 2 years ago as an idea to open a charitable thrift store specializing in Indian Ethnic clothing. The idea sparked the community and donations came in plenty from the generous donators. In turn, Seva Thrift store started carrying a variety of goods that has made the charity store successful beyond imagination.
Seva Thrift Society is run by a Board of Directors and is managed by dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to inspire giving and promote community cohesion by offering gently used, affordable and diverse goods. A place to reduce, reuse and repurpose.
