Vancouver, BC – The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) Fair is thrilled to welcome celebrity drag show artist Ilona Verley as a very special guest in the For the Love of Drag show on Labour Day, September 6th.
“Ilona is one of the drag world’s most impactful performers and we are so excited to welcome her to the Fair,” says PNE Creative Director Patrick Roberge. “The For the Love of Drag show started as a one-time feature show that proved so popular that we have included it in our program for the past three Fairs. When we were developing the programming for 2021 Fair FUNdamentals, we immediately included it. To have Ilona as the featured finale performer in the show to wrap up the For the Love of Drag 2021 Fair run is fantastic.”
Produced by Tuck Entertainment, the show includes high energy and fierce performances of some of Vancouver’s drag superstars in the For the Love of Drag performance on daily at 4:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. at the Fair.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the PNE entertainment lineup for another year. Our aim is to present a fun and energetic show that showcases the art of drag to an audience that may not otherwise have an opportunity to experience a live drag performance,” says Tuck Entertainment President Drew Binette. “We are overwhelmed by the positive feedback we get after our shows. We are excited to invite Ilona, an indigenous and two-spirit drag queen, to the stage to help us close out our 2021 year at the PNE.”
Ms. Verley’s performances will take place:
Date: Monday, September 6th
Times: 4:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
