BC Federation of Labour to attend Rally for Indian Farmers

The BC Federation of Labour, alongside several unions, has declared full support for the farmers in India who are currently protesting against legislation that will deregulate agricultural markets and favour corporate interests over those of small food producers through measures such as removing minimum support pricing.

The BC Federation of Labour, alongside several unions, has declared full support for the farmers in India who are currently protesting against legislation that will deregulate agricultural markets and favour corporate interests over those of small food producers through measures such as removing minimum support pricing.

The BC Federation of Labour released a statement yesterday on Facebook and on LinkedIn.

Secretary Treasurer Sussanne Skidmore will be in attendance on Tuesday evening along with other members from the labour movement for a rally in Surrey in solidarity with farmers in India.
