For 2020, the Chrysler Pacifica minivan   continues on as an excellent three- row family that can seat 7 or 8 passengers in in supreme comfort.   Highlights include, roomy interior, serene driving experience, and overall refinement .The new 2021 Pacifica is set to debut with new styling updates and an all-wheel-drive option.  We tested a 2020 mid-level Touring tester priced that, included: a remote start system, tri-zone temperature controls, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power seats, integrated second-row sunshades, a power tailgate, keyless entry system   4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity and more.

The Pacifica is powered by a standard 3.6L V6  With 287 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque hooked up to a and a nine-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. Note that there is a premium priced hybrid powered Pacifica offers better fuel economy.

Pacifica interiors amaze with the amount of flexibility. Up front, comfortable seats face a nicely arranges dash with attractive, blue backlighting for the dials. All the driver and HVAC controls are ergonomically placed and there is great road visibility through the bog windows, Highlights include the excellent FCA Uconnect system for the infotainment with a nice intuitive touchscreen.

There is the option of a bench seat or captain’s chairs in the middle row offering plenty of room to stretch out, The central seats also feature  Chryslers famous “Stow-n- Go” seating system flip-and-fold-away into the floor capability, Second-row passengers also receive their own climate controls.  With all seats folded away and removed, there is a phenomenal 3,979 L of cargo space – better than any other Minivan or SUV out there!  Overall attention to interior detail is excellent with good design features. On the road, the Pacifica offers a decent enough driving experience, with the engine powerful enough to keep up with everyday driving situations. The Pacific is actually an entertaining drive, with a decent ride, and   composed steering, handling and braking…

While the Pacifica’s official fuel economy rating is 10.6 L/100 km Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) average fuel. However, do not the Pacifica Hybrid model, offers an official 8.0 L/100 km combined figure, and its 51 km of all-electric range. With the 2021 model just around the corner – this is a good time to snap a good deal on a 2020 Pacifica model.  For now the Pacifica remains a classy, good looking minivan with a ton of features. Highly recommended.

2020 Chrysler Pacifica: priced from $33,246 – $45,952   plus freight options and taxes)
