Reunion of IIT Alumni group was held on June 22 at a private home of one of the Alumni members that was enjoyed by 50+ members and their families. This group was founded in 2002 by Ash Abhyankar along with 7 other alumni from the original 5 IITs who were residing in B.C. This group has now grown to be over 200 Alumni from 20+ IITs.
It was great to welcome to Vancouver, within 3 weeks of his arrival from Jamaica after relinquishing his High Commissioner duties there, incoming India’s Consul General for Western Canada Masakui Rungsung, an honorary member of this group, and his charming wife Ms. Zingcharwon. It was great to have his Vice-Consul Amitabh Ranjan and his wife, Honney join us for the evening, Ash Abhyankar added.
Neera and Vari Ghai welcomed the group, for the third time during past 10 years at their magnificent home on the Pacific Ocean, with hospitality, care and attention to detail par excellence.
