SACHIN LATTI – FROM LOCAL ROOTS TO EXTRAORDINARY HEIGHTS

Sachin’s journey in ultra-endurance running is nothing short of remarkable. He has completed nine ultra-marathons in nine months and an astounding twenty-two marathons in 22 consecutive days. His crowning achievement is running 60km daily for 60 straight days, which showcases his physical prowess and mental fortitude.

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Sachin Latti embodies the rich tapestry of Indo-Canadian heritage. As the son of immigrants from Punjab and pre-partition India, Sachin’s journey is a testament to the resilience and adaptability inherent in our community.

Despite facing challenges of cultural integration and identity in his youth, Sachin’s determination led him to a successful 18-year career with the Canada Border Services Agency, where he served in various capacities, including as a customs officer, immigration officer, and K-9 handler.

However, in 2020, Sachin’s life took a transformative turn. Embracing long-distance running, he discovered not just a passion but also a pathway to profound self-discovery. Through running, Sachin unknowingly tapped into the principles of brain endurance training and game theory, applying these concepts to overcome personal challenges and push beyond perceived limits.

Through these various running challenges, he helped himself and others by raising over $70,000 for various charities that support veterans and first responders with mental health-related issues.

Now, Sachin stands on the brink of his most ambitious challenge yet: attempting to break the record for the fastest run across Canada – a gruelling 7,300 km in 67 days. If successful, he will set a new record and become the first person of color to accomplish this extraordinary feat.

Beyond his achievements, Sachin is passionate about inspiring others. He shares his experiences with brain endurance training from the principles he has learned through running, which can be applied to overcome mental health challenges and achieve seemingly impossible goals.
