At Moving Forward Family Services, we are dedicated to providing accessible, low-barrier counselling services to seniors and marginalized groups across Canada. Our mission is to create “A world without sorrow,” where everyone has the opportunity to receive the mental health support they deserve.
Mental health challenges affect millions of Canadians, with 1 in 5 experiencing a mental illness each year. For many, the barriers to accessing support are insurmountable. This is where Moving Forward steps in, offering compassionate care and counselling to those who might otherwise be left without help. Our work is driven by the belief that everyone deserves to live a life of dignity and hope.
We are excited to announce our participation in The Grand Parade, a nationwide event celebrating and supporting seniors. This family-friendly fundraising walk will take place on September 21, 2024, in Surrey Newton. The Grand Parade is more than just a walk; it is a powerful statement of solidarity and compassion for our aging friends and family. By joining us, you will be helping to ensure that seniors receive the care and support they need to thrive. Funds raised will support our counselling and support services (such as our seniors senior coaching) for seniors, in 30+ languages
