DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society did all that with an International Women’s Day Event on March 5, 2020, at its Community Campus in Surrey, BC, featuring a special funding announcement to a small Surrey-based women’s non-profit society.
To mark 2020’s, Worldwide One Billion Rising* campaign, the biggest mass action to end violence against women, social justice and faith based organizations came together to hold events in Vancouver and Surrey in February 2020.
