Mr. Johnny Fong and Ms. Rebecca Cheng have collectively donated $700,000 to Richmond Hospital Foundation towards the new Yurkovich Family Pavilion (new Acute Care Tower). Their donation will have an impact on the future of health care right here in Richmond.
Thanks to RED FM listeners, an incredible $710,000 was raised for urgent health needs in the Fraser Valley during the Gupurab Radiothon on November 30th. The two-part radiothon benefitted two major B.C. charities: the BC Cancer Foundation and Surrey Hospitals Foundation, with 100 per cent of funds directly supporting each cause.
Mr. Michael Ching, a real estate developer in Vancouver and Richmond, has generously donated $200,000 to the new acute care tower in Richmond. Extending his generosity even further, Mr. Ching has partnered with South China Morning Post, donating $50,000 towards Richmond Hospital Foundation’s Surgical Restart campaign.
