4. Business Person of the Year

This award recognizes an accomplished entrepreneur who has owned and operated their business for at least ten years and demonstrated exemplary business performance in the past year.

The recipient exemplifies:

Entrepreneurial excellence and innovation
Public recognition and mentorship of emerging entrepreneurs

5. Health Achievement

This award celebrates excellence and innovation in healthcare and medicine. Nominees are individuals or organizations whose outstanding contributions have advanced medical practice, improved patient care, or significantly progressed the healthcare industry. Their work reflects creativity, compassion, and measurable impact in preserving and transforming lives.

6. Sports and Athletics

This award recognizes athletes who demonstrate excellence in competitive sports and physical fitness while embodying leadership, pride, and loyalty. Nominees have also shown a commitment to giving back to the community by mentoring, coaching, or sharing their talents to inspire others.

7. Startup Business of the Year

This award recognizes an outstanding startup business that has demonstrated exceptional innovation, growth potential, and measurable impact within its early years of operation.

Judges will consider:

Early commercial success and scalability

8. Innovation in the Arts

This award honors artists recognized for their innovative body of work and enduring contributions to the arts. Nominees demonstrate originality, creativity, and meaningful cultural impact through their artistic expression and leadership within the arts community.

9. Drishti CINS Award

Presented jointly by Drishti Media Group and Canada India Network Society (CINS), this award recognizes individuals or organizations (non-profit or for-profit) that contribute meaningfully to building a healthy civil society.

The recipient must:

Be globally based, with the organization registered in a Canadian province
Demonstrate impact in fostering sustained wellbeing, addressing social determinants of health
Promote integrated health (emotional, spiritual, financial, and physical wellbeing)
Recognize and incorporate the role of culture in strengthening civil society
Have links and roots to South Asia

Preference will be given to work conducted in Canada or India, though contributions from other regions will also be considered.
