VK LAKKINENI : SELF-DISCOVERY IS THE SECRET TO ABUNDANCE

We all know a lot of things in life are common sense. But many are emotionally and physically struggling to cope with daily living. We all know a lot of things in life are common sense. But many are emotionally and physically struggling to cope with daily living. V Krishna Lakkineni (VK), a technology entrepreneur, Amazon best-selling author, and one of the executive producers of a recent documentary “Dreamer” that won 3 Emmy Awards—believes that his path to self-discovery helped him to discover the abundance in the Universe. With his stoic nature and self-mastery, now he’s helping others to discover themselves and their authentic path.

VK was born in India and immigrated to Canada in 2008. His desire to provide safety and shelter to his family made him an entrepreneur. In 2010, he founded a digital marketing agency ROI Media Works serving clients all across west coast North America. His technical skills and perseverance resulted in two other early exit startups—SnaPT and Buddie Golf.

He was inspired by Sir Richard Branson, who recently became the first space tourist, who said: “You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and by falling over.”

VK’s agency received multiple awards, including the Young Entrepreneur award in 2011 from the local chamber of commerce. He founded the agency through perseverance, resilience, and fantastic teamwork. His agency worked with several small and medium businesses.

“Life has a way of teaching us when we get comfortable. It often throws a curveball to shake you up and puts you on a different path. For me, everything was going so well. I felt I had conquered. This was when I discovered how much I was not living my authentic life. The question became, why am I still unhappy irrespective of having everything that I ever wanted? My days are going fast, there is not enough time for my family, and my anxiety is always in the go mode! This wasn’t something I expected, but these are side effects of living an unhealthy lifestyle.”

To control his anxiety, VK began pranayama (breathwork exercise) regularly. “Dr. Deepak and Oprah’s meditation challenge was one of the first 21-day challenges I completed that led me to discover and connect with many spiritual teachers such as Robin Sharma, Jack Canfield, and Tony Robbins. I took every free class and some in-person coaching, which connected me to my spiritual roots. I used to listen to Bhagavat Gita, which I consider the ancient scripts of wisdom from India.” I have found many answers from these scriptures.

This was the beginning of discovering himself. “It required inner work to be on this path today. Many things in life revolve around love, compassion, kindness, empathy, and forgiveness. If we can master these, we can live an abundant life full of joy and happiness.” VK believes it will help create structure around common sense and help one see the abundance in chaos. “My life coaching is often about the self-discovery of one’s self. Using a mind, body, and soul approach, building habits can be nurtured to find abundance in everything around life. With many heart-centered friends around me now, I serve people looking for their own path to self-mastery.”
