This signature event,  SITAR FOR WORLD PEACE will showcase a brilliant Sitarist and  the founder of Gurukul Canada, Sharanjeet Singh Mand who has an impeccable style of presenting both singing and playing his instrument and has enthralled audiences in India, Canada and USA.

We are graced with this exceptionally gifted artist to present his soulful music which is transcending beyond  words.  He is the first ever non-western classical musician to make it on the list  byCBC as one of 30 under 30 hottest classical musician and the first artist to play Sitar on Mount Everest!  The tabla component is by Shri Sunny Matharu, a talented musician who has accompanied world renowned musicians around the world.

Gurukul Canada Foundation is anon-profit organization that endeavors to provide a platform for students/members to share their art, build musical strength and nourish values  in our community.  We take this opportunity to invite you to our local community event and share our event with your friends and music enthusiasts.
