KISHAN SAGGU – A 13 YEAR OLD, AAA ELITE MINOR HOCKEY PLAYER IN THE LOWER MAINLAND WAS THE ONLY SOUTH ASIAN TO BE SELECTED TO PLAY ON TEAM NORTH AMERICA AT THE 2022

He had the opportunity of a lifetime to play against the best hockey players from elite teams around the world including Team Finland, Team Slovakia, Team Sweden, Team France, Team Czech Republic, and Team Norway.

Kishan Saggu, a 13 year old, AAA elite minor hockey player in the Lower Mainland was the only South Asian to be selected to play on Team North America at the 2022 World Selects Invitational Championship in Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France from April 29 – May 8th, 2022. He had the opportunity of a lifetime to play against the best hockey players from elite teams around the world including Team Finland, Team Slovakia, Team Sweden, Team France, Team Czech Republic, and Team Norway.

Kishan ended up bringing home a world championship Gold medal with his team! Further to his success, Kishan has been offered to play at the Delta Hockey Academy in September 2022 while attending high school at North Delta Secondary. At such a young age, his perseverance and talent in the game of hockey is impressive at this level and Kishan has a heart and passion that fuels him in this sport.
