GVBCA has started its journey of Vancouver Bangla School on 17th September, 2018. They had a successful grand opening with overwhelming support and the response from the Bangladeshi community.  This initiative was taken by Tariq Malik the president of GVBCA.  Tariq highly believes that language is the first identity that identifies an individual. Language connects you back to your roots and historical background.

On behalf of GVBCA, they would like to send their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all community members and volunteers.

This is the only Bangla School that is open right now in Vancouver, Classes are held every Monday @ 6:30pm and the fee is by donation but if parents can’t afford to pay then it is free of charge.  More information is available on their FB page of GVBCA. Or you can call 604 218 6036.

They would also like to request all parents to send your children to Vancouver Bangla School so they can learn, read and write their mother tongue Bengali. Along with the language, they will learn our culture and ideals.
