Mortal Kombat-  (Martial-arts fantasy, action)

Mortal Kombat is a martial-arts fantasy action film based on the popular video game. For nine generations, an evil sorcerer has been victorious in hand-to-hand battle against his mortal enemies. If he wins a 10th Mortal Kombat tournament, desolation and evil will reign over the multiverse forever. Three warriors must overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to save Earth, their own inner demons, and superhuman foes to counter the threat. The film stars: Ludi Lin, Joe Taslim, Tadanobu Asano, Jessica McNamee, Mehcad Brooks, Josh Lawson, Chin Han, and Hiroyuki Sanada.

 

Pinocchio –(Animation musical fantasy)

Pinocchio is a stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy. A twisted retelling of the famous Carlo Collodi fairy-tale about a wooden puppet who comes to life and dreams of becoming a real boy in 1930s Fascist Italy. When Pinocchio comes to life, he turns out not to be a nice boy, causing mischief and playing mean tricks. Pinocchio struggles to live up to his father’s expectations. Stars the voices of Gregory Mann, Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, Ron Perlman, Tilda Swinton, Christoph Waltz, Cate Blanchett, Tim Blake Nelson, Finn Wolfhard, Burn Gorman, and John Turturro.

 

The King’s Man(Spy action comedy)

The King’s Man is the third film in the period spy Kingsman film series. As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man and his protégé must race against time to stop them. They are the Kings Man. The film features; Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.

 

Nine Days –(Science – fiction thriller)

Will (Winston Duke) spends his days in a remote outpost watching on TV monitors the live Point of View of people going about their lives, until one subject perishes, leaving a vacancy for a new life on Earth. Soon, several candidates—unborn souls—arrive at Will’s to undergo tests determining their fitness, facing oblivion when they are deemed unsuitable. But Will soon confronts his own existential challenge in the form of free-spirited Emma (Zazie Beetz), a candidate who is not like the others. Fueled by unexpected power, he discovers a bold new path forward in his own life.

 

Chaos Walking – (Science fiction adventure)

A science fiction film based on Patrick Ness’s 2008 novel The Knife of Never Letting Go, the first part of the Chaos Walking trilogy. Soon, Todd Hewitt has been brought up to believe that a pathogen has killed all women in a colony world and unleashed Noise, the unique ability to hear people’s and animals’ minds. Later, he comes upon a patch of silence and soon discovers the silence source: a mysterious woman named Viola Eade—the first he has ever met. On the run, they learn more about the real history of the New World. The film stars Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley, Mads Mikkelsen, Demián Bichir, Kurt Sutter, Nick Jonas, Cynthia Erivo, and David Oyelowo.

 

The Little Things –  (Crime thriller)

It centers on Deke (Denzel Washington), a burnt-out Kern County, CA deputy sheriff who teams with Baxter (Remi Malek), a crack LASD detective, to nab a serial killer. Deke’s nose for the “little things” proves eerily accurate, but his willingness to circumvent the rules embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma. Meanwhile, Deke must wrestle with a dark secret from his past. Stars: Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, Jared Leto, Isabel Arraiza, and Kerry O’Malley.


 

The Bell  (Drama)

Starring Mark Wahlberg, ‘Joe Bell’ the Bell is based on the real-life tale of a father who embarked on a cross-country walk in hopes to raise awareness following the death of his son in 2013. Along the way, the elder Bell must come to terms with his own prejudices and sometimes-conflicted relationship with his son (played by newcomer Reid Miller). The film also stars Connie Britton, Maxwell Jenkins and Gary Sinise. Mark Wahlberg has also produced the film directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green from an original screenplay by Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry. “This is a story that is very important to me personally. As a parent myself, I know how much fatherhood can change a man,” Wahlberg said in support of the movie.

 

The 355 (Spy action drama.)

A CIA agent teams up with other international agents to recover a top-secret weapon. The title is derived from Agent 355, a female spy for the patriots during the American Revolution. The dream team of formidable female stars come together in a hard-driving original approach to the globe-trotting espionage genre. When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, wild card CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown will need to join forces with rival badass German agent Marie former MI6 ally and cutting-edge computer specialist Khadijah. The film stars: Jessica Chastain,  Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan and Édgar Ramírez.
