Among the many challenges we’ve faced through the pandemic, the need for professional care for local seniors has surged, especially as Omicron continues to put strain on our communities and healthcare systems.
Annette, a local resident previously dedicated her life to caregiving for older adults, until she stepped into an education and recruitment role to mentor and build strong caregivers for the local community
“Our caregivers have been incredible heroes over the past two years,” said Annette. “Our office and local families have relied on caring and essential staff throughout the pandemic, as they provide crucial services such as Alzheimer’s care, companionship, meal preparation, household help, personal care, transportation, and more for older adults living, and often isolating, at home.”
To meet the growing need in our communities, the local Home Instead office serving White Rock, Surrey, Langley, Ladner and Tsawwassen has been bolstering their caregiver staff and ensuring that their teams are ready to support families and communities during this critical time. The office is hiring positions in the area ahead of Caregivers Day on February 18th.
Dedicated caregivers build meaningful relationships and often find rewarding jobs with opportunities for advancement, and the positions are a strong building block for those interested in a career in healthcare.
