hayu Brings Reality TV to Rogers Ignite TV

NBCUniversal International's all-reality streaming service hayu is now available on Rogers Ignite TV – the first cable partner in Eastern Canada. Ignite customers will receive a special, limited time offer with the new platform launch.

TORONTO, April 21, 2020 /CNW/ – Canadians looking to binge-watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians, get their daily dose of drama with The Real Housewives, hit the beach with Love Island or have a night-in with Andy Cohen, can now do so more easily than ever before.

Today, NBCUniversal International (NBCUI) announced that hayu – the all-reality, ad-free subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service – is now available to Rogers Ignite TV customers. Reality TV lovers can start streaming their favourite reality content via the all new hayu app on their Rogers Ignite TV box. Subscribers will be able to get access to the full catalogue of over 7,000 episodes of reality TV to binge-watch all of their guilty pleasures.

“Partnering with Rogers on their Ignite TV platform is a key milestone in our strategy to make hayu easily accessible to even more Canadians,” said Hendrik McDermott, SVP, Branded On-Demand, NBCUniversal International. “Since launch we have seen huge growth on our platform, so we know Canadians have a strong appetite for reality TV. We are delighted that Rogers Ignite TV customers are now in for a treat with full access to hayu, the premier destination for the best reality content.”

This is a first for hayu in Canada and we are excited to share this exclusive offer with our Ignite TV customers.”

With 250 reality shows, and a full back catalogue of box sets, subscribers can indulge in brand new episodes of the exclusive show Watch What Happens Live, alongside Keeping Up With the Kardashians, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of New York, Top Chef and the highly anticipated documentary, Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project. Subscribers to the service don’t have to worry about the impact of spoilers, given that the majority of shows are available on hayu the same day they premiere on TV.

Available until May 21, 2020, Ignite TV customers that sign up for hayu will receive the first two months free.
