Koinonia Evangelical Church Gives Back to the Community Donating $10,000 To Richmond Hospital Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Fund

With a strong belief in giving back to the community, the Koinonia Evangelical Church has made a donation of $10,000 to Richmond Hospital Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Fund addressing the immediate needs for our valued health care teams. “We’re in an unprecedented crisis, and as a local church we are called to respond to our neighbour’s immediate needs,” claimed Rev. Joshua Chow. “Our hearts and prayers go to the frontline doctors, nurses, and staff at Richmond Hospital and those who are in need of their services.”

Rev. Chow is the Lead Pastor of Koinonia Evangelical Church (KEC), a Richmond-based church with more than 600 people, many of whom live and work in Richmond and have received health care from Richmond Hospital. The Koinonia Evangelical Church understands the importance of supporting high quality, lifesaving care in the community of Richmond.
