Sahara Services and Surrey Civic Theatres present the previously sold out documentary film “Because We Are Girls “ on September 27th at the Surrey Arts Ctr.
This is Sahara’s second event this year in promoting awareness around sexual abuse and continuing their work for the global campaign they launched to help eliminate the silence surrounding sexual abuse through the use of a hashtag #notmysecret
The evening will consist of an art exhibit, the film and then a moderated panel discussion.
The evening will begin at 6:30 pm the doors for the film will be open at 7pm and the film starts at 7:30pm, with the panel discussion post film.
