Hands Against Racism campaign by Spice Radio

Fourth annual Hands Against Racism campaign was held on March 3rd, 2018 at the
Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver, BC.

Hands Against Racism was built on a message of hope and commitment. Similar to
Pink T-shirt Day, we encourage all Canadians to post selfies with their hands raised
as a pledge and reminder to stand against racial injustice in all its forms.

In the fourth year of the campaign, with Corporate Sponsor Envision Financial,
Spice Radio believes it’s more important than ever to engage in conversation and ask
Canadians to renew their commitment to tolerance and the respect for diversity.
People of all races and religions have learned to live together in places like
Vancouver and Toronto. These cities stand as bastions against a growing swell of
nationalism and jingoism.

On March 3rd, Spice Radio wrapped up the campaign with their signature event, which
included speeches, recognition of community advocates, cultural performances, and
activities for families of all ages.
