Recipe- Peanut Butter Barfi

  • 5 cups of Peanut Butter, smooth
  • 1 1/3 cups of Whey Protein Powder
  • ½ – 1 cup Skim Milk Powder
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar

Directions-

Melt peanut butter on medium heat in a deep pot and keep aside. Add whey protein powder in melted peanut butter and stir well. In a smaller pot, dissolve 1 cup sugar with ¼ cup of water at medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Combine the sugar mixture with peanut butter mixture and stir slowly. Add ½- 1 cup of Skim Milk Powder to achieve desired consistency of Barfi. Pour the mixture over a tray or wax paper and smooth it out to get the desired thickness. Immediately cut 1 inch squares with a sharp knife.

Enjoy it warm or let it cool for couple of minutes. Makes 50 pieces. May be stored in an air tight container for weeks.
