Hiring a special car for your wedding day could be one of the most difficult decisions to make when deciding on a wedding budget, With recent wedding trends, it’s become compulsory to hire a luxury car   such as a Rolls Royce, Bentley or Cadillac, or a stylish vintage car. Meanwhile renting a high performance cars such as a two seater Porsche or Ferrari is also becoming popular, adding value to the wedding and a touch of glamour, and we all like our wedding and events to be glamorous, don’t we?  The choice is endless, for car hire, whether it’s a vintage 1930 and 40’ cars, classic 1950’s or 1960’s cruisers, a seventies muscle car, or the newest Italian sports cars. You can hire even more exotic vehicles such as classic fire engines, old buses, army vehicles or even monster trucks if that what tales you’re fancy. Hire price range from a few hundred dollar just for the day to a few thousand for the week. It all really depends on what you are looking for.

Renting specialist vehicles comes with high standards but also high risks, due to the value of the car companies charge accordingly for the day, however, that one day hire price is nowhere near the total amount of the vehicle and neither is any deposit you pay.  Yes, insurance is there, and that covers most of the damages caused, but consider reading the contract beforehand very carefully, ensure yourself the small details that if something does happen to the car what are the charges. Some charges may include, you paying for the time the car is off the road. Sometimes it’s the small damages that can also affect your pocket, the small minor ones which for our personal cars would not make a huge difference but when driving one of these luxury cars the small damages also cost quite much, Kerb a wheel on a Porsche and that could cost $1,000 to repair or replace. Even a small scratch or dent could cost a mindboggling amount to repair on a high end sport car.

Not, that most car hire Companies also charge for mileage, they will give you some kilometers as an allowance, for example 100 kilometers per day, however once gone over these miles it could just be extortionate, This is something you need to consider before hiring such cars, or to ensure you clear this will the hiring company beforehand, to make it clear that you will need more miles they could then accordingly work with the price.

Car hire Companies will most probably have age groups which they are allowed to give the cars to, if the company is a well-known company and consider its own reputation most probably they will not take such risks, but ensure as you will be the driver yourself that you have a contract which states you are allowed to drive this car, it has your name and licence details on the contract with the company policies, the last thing you want is to be driving a car which you are under age for. Our tip is to actually hire a cool four seater convertible car with a driver included so you don’t have to worry about accidental damage. The convertible makes for great photographs and adds a certain cache. Sure it not the same as pulling up in Lamborghini, but it’s a lot less stressful!

In conclusion, there are some things you need to consider before hiring luxury or exotic sports cars but once it’s all done correctly it really is a pleasure driving or being driven around in a special vehicle and e makes the big day even more special.
