Kaalakaandi

An unusual story, a black comedy in which has Saif (Rileen) plays the role of a banker who leads a rather monotonous life. The news of his cancer inspires him to go wild as he tries to make each day different. He tries tripping on acid during his friend’s wedding, followed by him interacting with mafia gang and a couple who are set to get separated. Clearly, Kaalakaandi tries to celebrate life. The entire story is shown in a single night, will it unfold the mysteries in the most entertaining manner? We will have to wait and watch.

Padmaavati

Set in medieval Rajasthan, Queen Padmavati is married to a noble king and they live in a prosperous fortress with their subjects until an ambitious Sultan hears of Padmavati’s beauty and forms an obsessive love for the Queen of Mewar. Based on the epic poem Padmavat the film narrates the story of Padmavati, a legendary Rajput queen who committed jauhar to protect herself from Khilji, a ruthless Muslim king.

A magical, magnificent take on historical characters.

Fanne Khan

Fanney Khan is a struggling singer who wants to make his daughter a big name in music world. The film is an official remake of the Oscar nominated Belgian film Everybody’s Famous from year 2000.

The original film is about a father who wants to fulfill his daughter’s dreams of becoming a singing sensation. He manages to kidnap the country’s reigning superstar just so his daughter gain fame in exchange. We are waiting with baited breath for this one!

 

Hichki

Hichki presents a positive and inspiring story about a woman who turns her biggest weakness into her biggest strength. Naina Mathur (Rani Mukerji) is an aspiring teacher who suffers from Tourette Syndrome. After several interviews and numerous rejections, she lands her dream job as a full-time teacher in one of the most elite schools in the city. However, she soon realises that the class she has been assigned comprises of defiant and impish students who can’t seem to keep out of trouble. Despite a few initial hiccups, Naina must do whatever she can to ensure that her students realise their true potential, and defy all the odds against them.

Pari is a supernatural thriller movie. Producer- lead actor Anushka plays an abuse victim, and despite not playing a ghost, this will be her spookiest character ever.  Anushka can do it, we bet!
